I earned my bachelor’s from the University of Virginia in 2012, where I double-majored in psychology and cognitive science. After graduating I spent three years at Virginia Commonwealth University working as the project coordinator of a multi-site behavioral genetics study. At Penn State, my master’s thesis investigated how administrative policies affect treatment outcomes in college counseling centers. My current research interests (and dissertation) include examining larger-scale policies that can impact treatment, including staffing ratios, clinical treatment models, and the merging of behavioral health and medical care. In my spare time, I stress-bake, travel, play with puzzles/books/board games, weave wall tapestries, and watch lots of Netflix.
